Mrs. Greer earned a BA from the University of Northern Colorado in Spanish: Bilingual/Bicultural Education and English as a Second Language. She is licensed in Elementary Education and highly qualified in Spanish, with a master’s degree in School Administration. After achieving status as a top rated assistant principal in Denver, she went on as the principal of Vista PEAK Exploratory where she led her team from ‘priority improvement’ status to a ‘performance’ school for three consecutive years. Yolanda’s twenty plus years in the public school system in conjunction with more than ten years in formal ministry highlighted the need to meet people and teams where they are and support them forward. For several years, she and her husband Rod, of 25 years, facilitated a Life Group entitled Parenting with Purpose; its mission is to equip parents to train their children in a way that produces respectable, self-sufficient, empowered and productive citizens. Yolanda has spoken at various seminars/workshops in the Denver Metro Area and has been a Parenting/Education contributor for SHINE magazine. She holds the 1994 Ms. Black Colorado Pageant title and served our country in two tours overseas by entertaining our troops with the Afro-Caribbean band, Hot Molina, with the Department of Defense. She loves to travel and spend time with her supportive husband and their three inspirational young adult children who are serving in the fields of medicine, education, and business. Yolanda has experienced executive and spiritual coaching for several years and declares, “It is a must have tool one cannot afford not to employ when serious about purpose, elevating effectiveness, productivity, performance, and advancement”. From her personal experience she states, “Coaching sessions have provided me clarity, and renewed energy and focus over the course of the last 10 plus years. ”
