Yolanda’s twenty plus years in the public school system in conjunction with more than ten years in formal ministry highlighted the need to meet people and teams where they are and support them forward.

What Clients Say About Yolanda

“Over the past 4 years, I have been supported by Yolanda in many ways, both professionally and personally. Last year, she coached me through the pandemic when leading others took on many unexpected challenges. When I reach out to Yolanda for a time to problem solve, she holds space and provides insight into how to best support a difficult situation or a hurting person. Yolanda is the person I reach out to when I need to think through a situation from a faith based leadership perspective. My faith is my compass and foundation to all of the important decisions I make. It is always so helpful and encouraging after meeting with Yolanda when I need help anchoring back to our common beliefs and understanding of how we are called to be as leaders. I hope to know and receive support from Yolanda for many years to come.”

“Yolanda has provided me with ongoing mentoring as I have navigated being a new principal. I started, in the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, in July 2020. Yolanda quickly reached out to me, offering to meet as regularly as I wanted and was willing to cover any topics that I needed. When we began meeting, Yolanda was providing me with a variety of resources for new principals like how to structure the school year, what to prioritize and when, pitfalls to be cautious of, and who to connect with in the district for various reasons. She became my lifeline and I attribute my successfully remaining in my school, with a focus and determination, to the support I received from Yolanda. As I reflect on the past two years, I cannot imagine having survived without Yolanda’s support. I have direction, clarity, and renewed fervor for this critically important work. This is all thanks to the time, resources, and support that Yolanda has provided to me.”

“During my four years of leadership thus far there are a few people that have had a significant impact on my leadership trajectory and Yolanda is one of them. She is a consummate professional, strategic, charismatic and thrives off of building the capacity of other leaders within our district. What I value most is her ability to hold us accountable towards our why and ensuring that we reflect it in our impact and influence on staff and student outcomes. I have become a more intentional leader as a result of my experience with Yolanda. She is definitely a leader's leader!”

“Yolanda has been a great thought partner, listener, and advisor. I appreciate the coaching. Our sessions have challenged me to grow in my career goals.”

“Yolanda has a unique balance of deep felt compassion and the ability to move her clients forward. As a coach, she is both empathetic but also empowering, and helps her clients to acknowledge the reality of their situation without allowing the circumstances to impede their forward momentum.”
